About UK VisaCalc

Radif Partners publishes UK VisaCalc, free calculators for people applying for a UK visa and for the employers who sponsor them: the Skilled Worker salary threshold of every SOC 2020 occupation code, the total of Home Office fees and immigration health surcharge for a family, the dates of indefinite leave to remain and naturalisation with the rolling 180-day absence rule, the spouse visa income and savings test, decision dates and a daily copy of the register of licensed sponsors, all read on GOV.UK.

Why this site exists

Ask "how much will my visa cost" or "does my salary qualify" and the answers are spread across GOV.UK pages that each give one piece, tables of several hundred lines, law firm articles that end with a phone number, and a few calculators whose fees are a table or two out of date. UK VisaCalc does what the first Google result leaves to you: it crosses your occupation code, salary, hours and situation to give the exact Skilled Worker threshold and the gap in pounds, prices a visa for the whole family on the fee table of 8 October 2026, and dates your ILR and citizenship with the rolling 180-day rule, where other calculators show stale fees or ask for your phone number.

Who publishes it

The site is published by Radif Partners, a company that builds free calculators and reference pages on public data. It is not legal advice and is not affiliated with the Home Office, UK Visas and Immigration or any government body. It sells no consultation, collects no contact details for law firms and receives nothing from employers or advisers.

What we use

The Home Office fee tables (12 versions, from 31 January 2024 to 8 October 2026), the Immigration Rules (Appendix Skilled Worker, Skilled Occupations, Immigration Salary List, FM, Continuous Residence) as amended by Statement of Changes HC 584, the GOV.UK guidance pages of each route, the UKVI processing times of 9 September 2026 and the register of licensed sponsors of 13 October 2026. All are public sector information reused under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Nothing is taken from another visa website.

How it is checked

Each calculation is tested against the worked examples GOV.UK prints (a two-year Skilled Worker visa from Argentina at £2,889, the family surcharge for 2 years and 9 months, the citizenship example of the trip in June 2017) and against cases worked by hand from the rules. The method page lists the rules applied and their limits; corrections follow the editorial policy.
